On Thursday 6 February 2025 the cutting of the New Year's cake of the Laboratory of Structural & Earthquake Engineering Research took place. The cake cutting was attended by the Rector of the Foundation Mr. I. Chatjigeorgiou, the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Mrs. E. Vlachogianni, who wished the attendees.

The Director of the Laboratory, Professor E. Sapountzakis, after presenting the activities of the Laboratory during the previous year, wished its members and all those present “Health, progress and achievement of goals for the new year”.

The cake cutting ceremony followed and professors, PhD candidates and staff of the Laboratory exchanged wishes for a creative 2025 full of success!
